Eligible Pennsylvanians can now apply for rebates on the property taxes or rent they paid in 2025. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2026.
ABOUT THE PTRR PROGRAM?
Anyone 65 and older, widows and widowers 50 and older, and people with disabilities 18 and older who have a household income of less than $48,110 are eligible to apply, which marks an increase of more than $1,500 from last year’s income level. Please note that half of Social Security income is excluded. The maximum standard rebate has also been increased and is reflected below:

| $19241-$48,110 | $380 |
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- Proof of age if 65 or older
- If you are permanently disabled age 18 – 64 proof of your permanent disability
- If you are a widow or widower age 50-64 proof of your age and a photocopy of your spouse’s death certificate
- Property owners need a copy their 2025 property tax bills
- Renters need a Rent Certificate from their landlord which shows the amount of rent paid in 2025
