Allentown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Health Acting Secretary Alison Beam today joined leaders from St. Luke’s University Health Network and Rabiul Chowdhury from the Muslim Aid Initiative to talk about vaccine hesitancy among minority groups across the state, including in the Muslim community.

Gov. Wolf Discusses Vaccine Equity and Progress on Visit to McKeesport Vaccination Clinic

As Pennsylvania’s vaccination plan accelerates and more than a third of the state’s eligible population is vaccinated, Governor Tom Wolf today visited a new vaccination clinic in McKeesport to talk about vaccine equity and progress.

“Since Pennsylvania providers began receiving vaccine in late December, our state has made immense progress,” Gov. Wolf said. “Pennsylvania has moved up in state rankings for vaccine distribution over the past several weeks, and we now regularly rank in the top 15 of states for first-dose vaccinations.”

Wolf Administration Announces Opening Of Regional Vaccination Clinic In Centre County

​Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) and Department of Health today announced the opening of a Regional Vaccination Clinic (RVC) at the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State’s University Park campus in Centre County.

“Initially, this site will administer 600 doses per day, with the capacity to administer more as operations ramp up,” said PEMA Director Randy Padfield. “This is a centrally-located site that will serve thousands of people from not only Centre County but also surrounding counties as well.”

Department Of Health Provides Update On COVID-19 Testing Across Commonwealth

Pennsylvanians in Phase 1B Now Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine

  • People in congregate settings not otherwise specified as long-term care facilities, and persons receiving home and community-based services

Gov. Wolf: Successful Teacher and School Staff Vaccination Initiative is Completed Ahead of Schedule

PA Department Of Aging: Partnership Between COVID-19 Vaccine Providers, Area Agencies On Aging Helps More Seniors Secure Vaccine Appointments

Harrisburg, PA – An amended Department of Health order indicating that certain vaccine providers must work with local Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) to schedule vaccination appointments for older adults eligible in Phase 1A of the state’s vaccination plan is reaping measurable results, as reported to the Department of Aging.

Governor Wolf today visited the COVID-19 drive-thru mass vaccination clinic for Dauphin County residents at Harrisburg Area Community College. The drive-thru clinic was developed in partnership with UPMC Pinnacle and Dauphin County.
