DESCRIPTION:Senator Steve Santarsiero is hosting Property Tax/Rent Rebate Assistance Event on Wednesday\, February 28\, 2024 from 9:30 am – 2:030 pm at the Central Bucks Senior Center. \nEligible Pennsylvanians can now apply for rebates on the property taxes or rent they paid in 2023. The deadline is June 30\, 2024. \nNew in 2024 \n\nFor homeowners\, the income cap increases from $35\,000 to $45\,000 (Excluding half of social security income).\nFor renters\, the income cap increases from $15\,000 to $45\,000 (Excluding half of social security income).\nFor everyone\, the income cap is tied to increases in the cost of living\, meaning it will automatically grow with inflation.\nThe maximum rebate amount increases from $650 to $1\,000.\n\nWhat you need to bring: \n\nProof of age if 65 or older\nIf you are permanently disabled age 18 – 64 proof of your permanent disability\nIf you are a widow or widower age 50-64 proof of your age and a photocopy of your spouse’s death certificate\nProperty owners need a copy their 2023 property  tax bills\nRenters need a Rent Certificate from their landlord which shows the amount of rent paid in 2023\n\nFor more information or to register by phone\, please call 215-497-9490. \nTo schedule your appointment\, fill out the form below. \nThis form is currently closed for submissions.
