SUMMARY:State Financial Assistance for Low-Income Homeowners & Renters
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, December 12th and Wednesday\, December 13th my office is hosting information sessions for two state programs to help low-income homeowners and renters save money. \n\nLIHEAP helps individuals and families living on low incomes pay their heating bills in the form of a cash grant.\n\n\nThe Property Tax & Rent Rebate program returns money to eligible Pennsylvanians age 65 and older; widows and widowers age 50 and older; and people with disabilities age 18 and older.\n\nThis Tuesday and Wednesday\, from 9am-5pm visit my district office at 3 Terry Drive Suite 200 in Newtown (2nd floor of Santander bank building) to learn about these state programs. \nIf you can’t make it to the event\, call 215-497-9490 to speak with a staff member who can walk you through the programs and eligibility requirements.
