Take Action to Support Statewide Nondiscrimination
Senate Bill 570, Pennsylvania’s Statewide Nondiscrimination bill, will enshrine the rights of LGBTQ Pennsylvanians to housing, employment, and public accommodations.
But this vital legislation faces many hurdles.
The next step is for SB570 to be brought to a vote in the Senate’s Labor and Industry Committee. SB570 was assigned to this committee in early Junio, but since then, neither the leaders of the Senate Republican Caucus nor the leaders of the Labor and Industry Committee have moved it forward. We need to let Republican Caucus leaders know that Pennsylvanians everywhere want their rights and the rights of their families and neighbors protected.
All Democratic members of the State Senate have signed on as co-sponsors of this legislation. And now, we need the support of Republican leadership to move the bill forward. Contact the following Senators and ask them to bring SB570 to a vote!
